In the wake of the dreadful Covid-19 pandemic, we are confronted by yet another existential threat which is the unfolding climate disruption and environmental crisis occasioned by the disease.
Consequently, we have challenged ourselves to take collective action towards creating a green and sustainable future for our planet and all living species.
In January we started a Tree Nursery in collaboration with @lufasipark projected at raising one million tree seedlings and currently counting 105,000 viable seedlings. Now with the endorsement of @lasparklagos we have also identified some degraded landscape sites in Lagos State and other locations in the country that can be converted to Green spaces by adorning them with these trees
In the light of the above, we are seeking your contributions through sponsor of a tree(s) in planting and nuturing of a tree(s) to survival. Inclusive is the cost of transporting tree seedlings to planting location and the cost of planting and nuturing for 2 years.
The number of trees you sponsor will be tagged in your name while you can continue to visit the green space created and watch it grow as you make an effective contribution to reducing carbon footprint.
