COVID-19 Memorial Forest Project

As reported on the 7th of January, 2021, Africa has lost 69,690 people to the pandemic and the number is yet rising. In light of this, we are flagging off the establishment of a memorial forest of 70,000 #IndigenousTrees.

This will serve as a living monument providing tourists with an atmosphere of natural beauty in memory of the loved ones lost to the pandemic. Also, the local community can benefit sustainably from the economy value of fruits and other products derived from the forest. Finally, the forest will also serve in biodiversity conservation as well as in carbon sequestration.

We are highly enthusiastic and optimistic about this project as it would advance us towards a greener and more sustainable environment with an improved rural economy.
